Journal - After watching the short clip of Ashton Kutcher's
acceptance speech what did you take away from his advice? What does this quote
mean to you -"Everything around you that you call life was made up by
people that were no smarter than you, and you can change it, you can influence
it, you can build your own things that other people can use."

Ashton Kutchers acceptance speech I took away his first two sayings. One,
seeing opportunity. If you don’t take opportunity then you aren’t going to go
anywhere in life. You have to take chances when opportunity comes. Two, being
sexy. Being sexy is to be smart and I agree with that. There is nothing more
attractive than someone who knows what he’s saying. I like to hold
conversations with people and not end a conversation with, “kay.” The quote, "Everything around you that you call life
was made up by people that were no smarter than you, and you can change it, you
can influence it, you can build your own things that other people can use, “
means to me that just because someone already did one influential thing,
doesn’t mean you can’t do another. We influence the world everyday with our
thoughts, behaviors, and acts. We should build our own generosity so that
people can use it too. Ashton Kutcher’s acceptance speech was touching and made
me a strong believer of him once again.
